Fitting Orthodontics into Your Schedule

We understand that orthodontic treatment can interfere with important obligations you have during the day, including work and school. We have tried to design our treatment methods to minimize appointment times and maximize the intervals between visits to create fewer conflicts with your schedule.

Our Approach to Minimizing Conflicts

During your orthodontic care, different types of appointments may be needed. Depending on which type of appointment is necessary, different appointment lengths will be required. THE MAJORITY OF YOUR APPOINTMENTS CAN BE SCHEDULED AT TIMES WHICH ARE MORE CONVENIENT TO YOUR BUSY SCHEDULE: AFTER WORK, AFTER SCHOOL, OR ON A SATURDAY.

However, every patient will have a few longer appointments (typically three), which include putting the braces on, mid-treatment progress, and taking them off. We schedule these infrequent longer appointments in the morning and early afternoon. This allows us to offer the majority of your appointments at the most popular times.

Our schedule is carefully crafted to give our patients the time needed to progress continually with treatment. In fairness to other patients, it is important to arrive on time for your appointment. We want to have adequate time during each visit to do the necessary procedures and to answer questions about your treatment progress.

In the rare circumstance that you would arrive late, we may find it necessary to reschedule your appointment in order to give you the time you deserve.

The doctors are highly trained at utilizing state-of-the-art technology and treatment methods that straighten teeth efficiently and require fewer visits to our office. We are committed to providing you with the best orthodontic service and to making your treatment as convenient as possible.

Rescheduling Appointments

We ask for at least 24 hours of notice to reschedule an appointment, because we set aside time to accommodate your specific needs. Our goal is to progress steadily with your treatment. Missed appointments or numerous appointment changes will inevitably result in an extension of your treatment time.

Payment Options

Cost

The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient’s problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options at the treatment conference, before treatment begins. We have payment plans and multiple payment options to suit different budgets. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable for everyone interested in treatment.

Fees

In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:

  • If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount.
  • To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months.
  • For your convenience, we accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD, and DISCOVER.
  • In cases of serious payment delinquency, treatment will be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate patients with temporary difficulties.

Patient Forms

Be sure to bring these with you to your first visit. This appointment will include a comprehensive examination that will allow us to recommend if and when treatment is necessary. It is also an opportunity for you to have questions answered, discuss any concerns, and meet our orthodontic team.
